With a view to perfecting the biblio-\ngraphical story^ reproductions in facsimile are\ngiven of the title-pages of the rarest of these\nreissues.\nThanks are due to the Curators of the\nBodleian Library for permission to reproduce the\noriginal editions of Kenus and Adonis^ 15*9 3^\nof Lucrece^ 15*94^ of the Sonnets, 1609^ ^^^ ^f\nTericles^ 1609. Mrs. Christie Miller has generously\npermitted the reproduction of her copy of The\nTassionate Tilgrim^ I5'995 which is in the library\nat Britwell.
